Solar Arrow Boards

Vehicle Mounted Boards

Arrow boards & message boards direct traffic by flashing a brightly lit arrow pattern or message on a large, highly visible display panel. Truck-Mount Arrow Boards & Message Boards provide an obvious solution for convoys, crash-cushion (TMA) trucks and emergency repair crews. Installed over the cab or in a truck bed, power is provided by the truck’s power system. Arrows, Messages, and other patterns are selected by the user using the arrow board/message board controls inside the truck cab.

Automated Flagger Assistance Device (AFAD)

Automated Flagger Assistance Devices (AFADs) are mechanically operated temporary traffic control devices that function under the same operational principles as traditional flagging. AFADs are considered a safety enhancement because they minimize flaggers’ direct exposure to traffic by allowing them to control the flagging device from an area away from traffic, such as behind a guardrail. As a result, the AFAD increases worker safety compared to traditional flagging methods. It is important to recognize that AFADs do not eliminate the need for qualified flaggers at the work zone. Personnel should still be traditionally trained and available to step in as a manual flagger in case of a technology malfunction, or driver intrusion.

Roll-up Signs

LMC Safety Barricade Corp. carries over 50 legends in stock! We also make custom roll-up signs in house with same day turn around. Roll-up signs are constructed with 3M Diamond Grade material with cloth corner pockets and cross bracing for temporary traffic control. The corner pockets are made of heavy duty, 4-ply, minimum 14 oz. material. Each pocket is bar-tacked for added strength and double stitched directly to the back of the sign for durability. All signs come with high-quality, UV resistant polyester/glass fiber “pultrusion” ribs that are joined at the center with a special heavy-duty, low profile rivet to minimize scuffing and wear. Additional features include a velcro closure strip for keeping signs tightly rolled and printed legends on the outer edge of the sign for easy identification when sign is rolled for storage and transport.

LMC Safety Barricade Corp. has a state of the art sign shop equipped with Digital Latex Printers and Vinyl Plotters. All signs are made in house with a extremely fast turn around time. LMC can work with you and your company to come up with a custom design and send proofs for your approval before fabrication. Depending on the size of the order we can have the sign(s) ready the same day.

Compact Sign Stands

WindMaster Sign Stands have been engineered using the highest quality components and thoroughly tested to ensure exceptional performance. The bases are equipped with springs that have strong initial tension to resist twisting and turning of sign in high wind gusts. The aircraft aluminum legs have kick-release buttons to simplify set-up and take-down and rubber caps for traction. Each leg is adjustable for stability on curbs or uneven terrain. All WindMaster Sign Stands are NCHRP 350-accepted.

Barrier Clamp Sign Stands

Barrier Clamp Sign Stands are designed for quick and easy setup and removal and are ideal for sort term applications and highway conditions where shoulder space is limited. They can be used with both roll-up and rigid signs. Clamps adjust from 4″ to 16″ wide. Rubber grips clutch any surface and hold securely over long periods of time. They can be used on concrete, steel, plastic water-filled, or any other approved barriers.

The Telespar^® sign support system is available with two types of posts; galvanized steel tubing with perforated holes on all four sides and Qwik-Punch^® posts which are made with 7/16″ knockouts, 1″ on the center on all four sides.

The tubing is produced through a unique manufacturing process that permits tubular sections of different sizes to telescope into the next larger size. It is complemented by a variety of compatible fittings, accessories, nuts, bolts and simple installation tools.

Telespar^® Telescoping Posts with Holes

Telespar^® square posts feature 7/16″ pre-punched holes on 1″ centers and corner welds to allow smooth telescoping action. Telespar^® square sign posts are the most versatile product on the market, demonstrating versatility, ease of installation, and optimization for multi-directional signage. Telespar^® square posts conform to ASTM A1011 Grade 50.

U-Channel Post

Made from high-carbon billet steel, U-channel posts are rib backed. The pre-punched 3/8″ mounting holes on 1″ centers accommodate most standard traffic signs.

Our Barrels/Drums (Group 2 Channelizing Devices) are molded from impact resistant polyethylene, are sheeted with 6” 3M Diamond Grade material, and meet all VDOT & FHWA specifications along with NCHRP-350 Crash Worthiness. These devices minimize vehicle damage and remains serviceable after numerous impacts. The barrel and base design minimize roll after vehicle impact. Solid rubber bases are designed to grip the road for maximum stability. The large access handle allows a worker’s gloved hand to easily handle and drag.

Traffic Cones

If you think all traffic cones are alike, you haven’t seen the all-new JBC Revolution traffic cone series. Type III Barricades

Our Type III Barricades are made from versatile galvanized square tubing for both skids and uprights. The skids are connected to the uprights by a stub weld base receiver. Multiple base options are available. Barricades are made to order and, with 3M Diamond Grade reflective sheeting, meet all VDOT and FHWA specifications.

Yodock Water-filled Barrier

The Yodock Wall Company pioneered the water filled barrier industry nearly 30 years ago. LMC Safety Barricade Corp. offers Yodock’s full line of innovative traffic control products centered around the patented ballastable Energy Disbursement Cell (EDC) known as the Models 2001, 2001M, and 2001M-BM. Made in the USA of heavy-duty polyethylene, these EDCs can be accessorized to meet a variety of traffic control product categories. Yodock Aerocade Airport Barricade

The Aerocade^® Airport Barricade is a low-profile, water-filled, highly visible, collapsible channelization device used to delineate work zones for construction and maintenance on airport runways and taxiways. Aerocade^® airport barricades can be easily interconnected end-to-end and used as a channelizer or demarcation device. Additional accessories include warning flags and warning lights.

Type A Warning Light (Solar Assist)

Delineator Posts

Delineator Posts are used for many different applications. They can be used to mark concrete islands or delineate two-way traffic in a work zone to name a few. Many different types and colors are available with alternate reflective sheeting patterns. LMC Safety Barricade Corp. can install these posts on your project to meet design specifications. Delineator posts can be used in both permanent and temporary applications.

QuadGuard II

Using the existing framework of the QuadGuard, the QuadGuard II provides TL-2 and TL-3 protection using less length. The TL-2 QuadGuard II is 25% shorter than the original QuadGuard measuring less than 3m (10’). The TL-3 model is also nearly a meter, 3 feet, shorter than its predecessor. The only modifications are the addition of the revolutionary Steel Nose, and the monorail Guide Stabilizers. The remaining components are identical to the existing NCHRP 350 systems that have been installed globally since the mid 1990’s.

The QuadGuard II will telescope rearward on head-on impacts by both the light car and the high center-of-gravity pickup truck at speeds up to 100 km/h (62 mph) and safely redirect errant vehicles on impact up to 20 angles into the side of the unit without gating.

QuadGuard CZ

The innovative QuadGuard CZ System has been improved with the addition of modular plate bases to reduce anchorage and speed installation. The QuadGuard CZ System meets all of today’s strict crash cushion performance criteria. The QuadGuard CZ System provides the same lifesaving efficiency and features of the permanent QuadGuard System, in a compact, portable system that is easier than ever to install.

During head-on impacts, the QuadGuard Systems telescope rearward and crush the cartridges to absorb the energy of impact. When impacted from the side at angles up to 20°, the QuadGuard Systems safely redirect the errant vehicle back toward its original travel path without allowing gating.

Energite III

The Energite III System is a non-directive, easy-to-install crash cushion consisting of a number of sand-filled, polythelyne plastic modules that are installed in a specific geometric array in front of a hazard. Each module in the array consists of a one-piece barrel, a lid and, in some modules, a cone insert. The cone insert is used to adjust the sand height or center-of-mass and the overall weight of the barrel. The barrel’s weight requirement is determined by its place within the array.

SafeStop 90

The SS90HD is a heavy duty, potentially reusable truck mounted attenuator (TMA) available for use on stationary or moving shadow/support vehicles. This TMA has passed all mandatory and optional testing and is NCHRP Report 350 Test Level 3 compliant. Additionally, the SS90HD has passed the UK TD 49, 110 km/h (68 mph) test.The unit is comprised of two light-weight aluminum cartridges contained in a potentially reusable galvanized support frame. The SS90HD helps to absorb rear-end impacts at speeds up to 62 mph (100 km/h) when impacted according to NCHRP350 crash test standards.

SafeStop 180

The Safe-Stop TMA with the 180 degree Tilt feature provides maximum protection with minimal length, weight and height. The 180 degree Tilt feature makes this TMA the shortest height TMA when in its storage mode, which is ideal for garage storage and low underpasses.

Vorteq – TL3

The Vorteq TL-3 Trailer TMA is an innovative attenuator efficiently designed to meet both mandatory & optional NCHRP 350, Test Level 3 requirements. The easy to own and operate Vorteq TL-3 Trailer TMA is lightweight and attaches to most host vehicles with a 20 ton pintle hook and 7 pin electrical connector. Acceptable host vehicle weight is 9960lbs to infinite weight. Super fast attachment means you have full TMA protection in less than a minute. The open frame design means inspection and maintenance is quick & easy.

Type D Class I & II Temporary Tape

Advance Traffic Marking’s line of removable tapes work together to safely and economically direct traffic around construction work zones. With fast application marked roadways can be immediately opened to traffic, limiting road closures. The pressure sensitive adhesive backing conforms to all asphalt and concrete surfaces providing a secure bond through heavy traffic and extreme hot or cold temperatures. Tape can be removed manually in large pieces without the use of heat or special equipment, leaving the road surface undamaged.

Removable Primer

ATM Removable Primer should be used under the following marginal conditions:

1. When air or surface temperatures are expected to fall below 40°F (5°C) within 24 hours of installtion.
2. If rain is expected within 24 hours after installation, ATM does not recommend installation, and doing so will void the warranty. ATM also understands certain situations require installation outside of our recommendations. In such cases, ATM primer should always be used. See attached “Road Surface Guide”.

Concrete Barrier Reflectors

PCBM portable concrete barrier markers are made of
high-impact thermoplastics for long, maintenance-free life in
the field. A variety of styles meet all your needs from high target
value to impact resistance. We can manufacture reflectors
using any grade or color of reflective sheeting in order to meet

Guardrail Reflectors

Work Zone Pavement Markers

RPMs and Halftracks
Effective and convenient long-term temporary road markers
are designed to be long lasting enough for use on both
low volume roads and interstate highways to provide clear
guidance to motorists both night and day. Simple to install
and remove.
• Two standard colors – white and yellow
• Reflective tape can be applied on one or both sides
• Optional factory-applied high-tack butyl adhesive pad
allows for a peel and stick application to the roadway

TOM – Temporary Overlay Markers
Primarily for short-term temporary lane line markings in
asphalt paving projects and other construction work zones,
these markers are placed after final rolling of the new
asphalt. TOMs are engineered for easy application and
removal to reduce the amount of time workers are in the
roadway.
